ISLAMABAD, April 12 (BNA) -- Kuwait Airways Corporation (KAC) Saturday announced resumption of its flights from Islamabad on April 28 and from Lahore on April 26 after a temporary suspension due to Iraq war.
According to a KAC press release issued here the reason for suspension is attributed to commercial reasons as flights routes were altered which involved over flying.
The additional fuel cost combined with poor passenger load was not economically viable to operate during the period, the press release said. However, the situation is now returning to normal and the KAC is gradually restarting operation from Pakistan.
