HM King Hamad Receives Al Qadam Village Delegation

Manama, June 29. (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today expressed his keenness to meet the citizens directly in order to be assured on their conditions and be updated on their needs in line with HM's constant interest in upgrading the Bahraini's standards of living and encouraging them to serve their nation and community.
HM King Hamad was speaking as he received today at Al Safriya Palace a delegation representing Al Qadam Village inhabitants.
During the audience, HM King Hamad praised Al Qadam Village's patriotic contributions in the nation-building march, asserting that the Bahraini citizen will always remain the main focus of interest of all development programmes.
"Bahrainis will always enjoy the valuable position and appreciation they deserve thanks to their keenness to be educated, adherence to work, high moral values and patriotic contributions," HM the King noted, adding that officials have always been instructed to preserve authentic Bahraini social cohesion which should be taken into consideration when setting up housing projects.
HM the King stressed the need to provide the citizens with the best services, indicating that Islamic values and national interests should be respected when setting up such projects.
HM King Hamad also reiterated his keenness to ensure the citizens' participation in the decision-making process in order to contribute to the kingdom's building and prosperity.
After that, Hashem Sayed Hasan Al Mosawi spoke on behalf of Al Qadam inhabitants.
In his statement, he hailed HM King Hamad's Reform Project, which, he said, prioritised the citizens' needs through various development projects.
He also lauded the various achievements of Al Qadam Village during HM King Hamad's prosperous era.
He, then, listed the Village's needs which are the building of a cultural and sport centre, a special location for the local Charity Fund and a Ma'atam.
He also hoped his HM the King issues directives to the Housing Ministry to raise some citizens' housing loans in order to enable them to complete building their houses.
He also said the village needs a special area to cater for the housing needs of the local residents.
