Kabul, May 12 (BNA) -- Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived in Afghanistan Thursday for two days of talks that are expected to cover regional stability, terrorism and Indian aid to Afghanistan.

In a statement ahead of his first trip to Kabul in six years, Mr. Singh said what happens in Afghanistan has an impact on India, and that the region cannot prosper unless Afghanistan's rebuilding efforts succeed.
Indian officials said that Mr Singh was likely to announce a new multimillion dollar aid package for Kabul.
