35 Feared Dead in Pakistan Bus Crash

Islamabad, May 28 (BNA) - About 35 passengers are feared dead when a civil bus steeply plunged into river Neelum in the upper Neelum Valley, 80 kilometers from Muzaffarabad on Friday, police said.
The accident took place in the mountain village of Changan in the Neelum valley, some 80 miles northeast of Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistani Kashmir. The conductor of the bus managed to save himself by jumping from the vehicle as it fell and he has told police that there were up to 35 passengers in the bus, local police station chief told reporters.
