Son of HRH Crown Prince Patronises Ardha Festival

Manama, Dec. 17. (BNA) – Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Son of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, has lauded holding the late Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa bin Ali Al-Khalifa's Ardha Festival during the kingdom's celebrations of the National and Accession days.
Speaking as he patronized today, at the Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed Al Fateh Fort in Riffa, the Ardha Festival, organized by the Bahrain Ardha Society, Shaikh Mohammed extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme commander, on the National and Accession days, wishing the kingdom further progress and prosperity.

He also said that the festival reflects the kingdom's appreciation of the major role played by the late Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa and other national personalities in enriching the country's cultural and artistic momentum, praising all efforts aiming to preserve Ardha as a major component of national identity.

Then, Board Chairman of the Bahrain Ardha Society Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Ali Al Khalifa delivered a statement in which he extended his sincere congratulations to the wise leadership on the National and Accession days and expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman for patronizing the first edition of the festival aiming to safeguard the kingdom's genuine arts.

After that, Bahrain Ardha Society's Zayed Atiq Mubarak briefed those present on Al Ardha art, and then poets Salim Ahmed Al Mannai, from Bahrain, Rashid Al Qannas, from Saudi Arabia, read the late Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa's poems.

Then, Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman honoured Shaikh Isa bin Khalifa Al Khalifa in recognition of his role in promoting Bahraini genuine popular arts.

After that, Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman was offered a commemorative gift by Board Chairman of the Bahrain Ardha Society Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed bin Ali Al Khalifa.
