Manama, Jan. 27. (BNA) – The Consumer Protection Directorate (CPD) at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce said yesterday it had received a number of complaints from visitors of Bahrain Autumn Fair, and confiscated the products in question.
The products were guns with "suspicious" noises that are abusive to the Islamic teachings and general morals, explained CPD, adding that it had sent its inspectors immediately to the fair, currently held in Bahrain international exhibition and convention center, to confiscate those toys.
CPD reaffirmed its keenness to control the content of the market, to make sure it is clear of any harmful products.
