Manama, Jan. 27. (BNA)— A total of 524. 515 copies of the Holy Quran have been donated so far within the “One Million Copies of the Holy Quran-Bahrain’s Gift to Africa” campaign, launched this afternoon by the Information Affairs Authority (IAA) through a live telethon broadcast by Bahrain TV.
Citizens, residents and establishments from Bahrain and abroad can donate through the bank accounts displayed on Bahrain TV or at IAA premises, Seef Mall, City Centre in Manama, Al Waha Mall in Muharraq and the Lulu Hypermarket in Riffa.
Donations can be made through personal presence, telephone call, credit cards or SMS.
This humanitarian campaign, sponsored by IAA, will run until midnight on Bahrain TV.
