Buallay: Convict Nabeel Rajab Violated the Terms of His Brief Release for Humanitarian Reasons

Manama, Oct. 5. (BNA) – Public Prosecution Chief Wael Buallay said that convict Nabeel Rajb yesterday committed violations as he attended his mother’s funeral.

In a statement to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), Buallay said that Nabeel Rajab was released briefly to attend his mother’s funeral, although such a humanitarian gesture posed a threat to public security and the safety of the policemen accompanying him, he violated the terms and delivered a speech inciting mourners to stage illegal protests and called that a “religious duty”.
