HRH the Crown Prince meets Hague

London, Oct 11 (BNA) His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa today affirmed that the unprecedented steps taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain had reflected His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's commitment towards the comprehensive reform process that His Majesty had launched.


His Royal Highness said during his meeting with the British Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, William Hague that in the Kingdom of Bahrain there is a belief in the need to push forward in facing challenges in the path of reform.

He also affirmed that dealing with all challenges must be in the best interest of Bahrain and within a pure Bahraini framework implemented in through a unified Bahraini spirit.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince expressed his satisfaction with the progress of ongoing cooperation and coordination between Bahrain and Britain and on working towards reinforcing stability in the region.

For his part Hague expressed his happiness for meeting His Royal Highness the Crown Prince welcoming his visit and presented him with a letter from UK President David Cameron.

Meanwhile, Hague also praised the steps undertaken by Bahrain towards the implementation of several of the recommendations and reviewed the outstanding relations existing between the two countries.

He also affirmed that bilateral relations between Bahrain and Britain were going in the direction both countries were aspiring to.

Present at the meeting were the Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Minister of Follow-up at the Royal Court Shaikh Ahmed bin Attiyatallah Al Khalifa, Advisor of Political and Economic Affairs Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa at the Crown Prince Court and Bahrain's ambassador to Britain Alice Samaan.
