Manama, November 20th (BNA) - The General Directorate of Crime Detection and Forensic Science has arrested a terror cell that placed fake bombs in several crowded areas throughout Bahrain. This included placing the objects on vital roads which caused traffic delays and spread fear among the public.
The General Director of Crime Detection and Forensic Science announced on Tuesday that when the home of one of the suspects was searched, a fake bomb was found. He said the suspects were referred to the public prosecutor.
The General Director of Crime Detection and Forensic Science highlighted that the suspects were referred to the Public Prosecution, stressing that preserving the lives of citizens and residents is considered a priority and a security duty that cannot be ignored under any circumstances.
