Shaikh Nasser Visits Royal Military Academy Sandhurst

London-May-13(BNA)Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant-Colonel Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa paid a visit today to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS). He was welcomed by (RMAS) Commandant Major General Timothy Evans and senior officers.
Shaikh Nasser signed the VIP visitors' book and was briefed on the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) tasks, and responsibilities as well as it role in training military officers.

He met a number of GCC cadets and encouraged them to benefit from the (RMAS) programmes and curricula. He hailed RMAS's role, in training officers from all around the world, lauding its developed programs, in military leadership and skills. HH said that he studied and graduated, from RMAS and benefited from its programs in his military life.

He said, that GCC countries are going through an important phase, that requires the preparation of leaders who have experience, stressing the importance of being armed with knowledge.

On behalf of HM the King, Shaikh Nasser then patronized the inauguration of King Hamad Hall the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS).
(RMAS) Commandant Major General Timothy Evans presented Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa with a commemorative gift marking his visit to the academy.
