Manama-June9(BNA)Under the patronage of Public Security Chief Major-General Tariq Hassan Al-Hassan, the Royal Academy of Police today hosted a graduation ceremony in honour of the police cadets and the fourth batch of community police.
Major-General Tariq Hassan Al-Hassan was welcomed on arrival by the RAP Commander. After the national anthem, the graduates staged a military parade demonstrating the extent of their skills which reflect their professionalism and readiness to accomplish assigned duties.
RPA Commander delivered a speech paying tribute to the Interior Minister and the Public Security Chief for their support.
He stressed the academy’s resolve to continue the march of achievements, citing in this regard the International accreditation it obtained recently.
After taking their legal oath, the patron of the ceremony honoured top-achievers and presented certificates, congratulating graduates and their families.
He urged the graduates to spare no effort in assuming their duties and serving their country to maintain its security and stability under the wise leadership of His Majesty the King. He stressed resolve to continue efforts to promote the performance of the security forces following directives from the Interior Minister.
He described the graduation of police cadets and community police as in line with the recommendations of the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry, adding that more police batches will graduate.
He congratulated the Royal Academy of Police on the international accreditation, stressing the crucial role of the establishment in honing the skills of cadets.
