Bahrain participates in the second Gulf Conference on Complementary Medicine

Riyadh, November 24 (BNA) –Assistant Undersecretary for Primary Care and Public Health at Ministry of Health, Dr. Maryam Al-Jalahma participated in the Second Gulf Conference for Complementary Medicine, which was held in the Saudi Capital Riyadh recently under the patronage of Minister of Health in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabiah.

During the conference, Dr. Bodeker, Director of the Global Initiative for Complementary Medicine presented a lecture on the spreading of use of complementary medicine, highlighting its uses in the GCC states.

Dr. Maryam Al-Jalahma also participated in the meeting of the roundtable, with the participation of the members of GCC Executive Authority, who discussed the importance of the Complementary Medicine for the future uses.

The conference was attended by Dr. Bahaa Fatiha, Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Regulatory Authority, and a member of the Gulf Committee for Alternative Medicine, and Dr. Amal Al-Jowder, director of health promotion.
