Tunis, May 19 (BNA):Espérance have been crowned Tunisian league champions for the 27th time in their history with a 3-0 win over Étoile Sportive du Sahel in the last round of the Championship Group.
Espérance entered the game only one point ahead of Étoile du Sahel knowing that they needed a draw to lift the league title, and they got what they wanted when they defeated the defending champions 3-0 at home, Kingfut reported.

Club Africain finished third with 16 points, CS Sfaxien finished fourth in the league table with 12 points. ES Métlaoui and Ben Guerdane finished the season in the fifth and sixth places respectively.
