06 : 42 PM - 13/09/2017
Manama, Sep. 13 (BNA): The preparations for the final ceremony of Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League for Youth Centres, People with Disabilities and Girls are continued by the organising committees of the league.
The league will be concluded on Sunday September 17 at Khalifa Sports City Hall in Isa Town under the patronage of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Honorary President of Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities.
The organising committee announced that it is sparing no efforts to ensure the success of the final day ceremony and reflect the success of the league in its fifth edition.
Ali Al-Arabi, the Director of Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League affirmed that this year's edition of the league is special as it included 59 teams representing youth centres, unregistered clubs, disabled centres and societies and girls' teams for the first time.

Al-Arabi said the organising committee held several meetings during the previous few weeks to finalise the preparations for the final day ceremony, including intensifying the advertisements for the final matches of the tournaments of the league and the prizes awaiting the audience.

He also announced that individual prizes of the league include the best player, best goalkeeper, top scorer, perfect team, best administrator, best coach and perfect player of the youth centres and unregistered, people with disabilities and girls tournaments.

Muharraq, Sanad prepare for the final match

Great excitement is expected in the final match of the youth centres and unregistered clubs tournament. Muharraq Youth Center and Sanad Youth Centre will play in the final match for the first time in the five years of the league after they fought their way through the different stages and knocked out their opponents. Bahrain National Futsal Team players Raed Baba and Jassim Al-Jibn will play against each other, as Baba represents Sanad and Al-Jibn plays for Muharraq. This is the first time that the teammates play against each other.

The organising committee however said that predicting the winner of this year's title will be difficult, considering the strong performances shown by both teams in the league and the elimination of the main nominees to win the titles in the different stages of the league.

The technical administrations of both teams announced that the teams will not take rest and will continue their training sessions for the final matches, promising to show a great performance.
