Al Jazeera English media reports baseless
Manama, May 11 (BNA) Official sources have denied media reports claiming that police have targeted schools and students to quell protests. "The allegations made by Al Jazeera English are totally baseless and without credibility," the sources said. "Reports that the police have targeted students or beat them or threatened them are a blatant and malicious fabrication," the sources said. In its report, Al Jazeera English said that "an undercover investigation conducted by Al Jazeera's correspondent, Charles Stratford, has unearthed evidence that Bahraini police carried out periodic raids on girls' schools since the unrest began.

Al Dhahrani lauds GCC meeting outcome
Manama, May 11 (BNA) Chairman of the Representative Council Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani praised the outcome of the GCC consultative meeting that was held in Riyadh recently.
