Results of HM King Hamad's Visit to Germany Reviewed

Banks has no plan of quitting the Kingdom

Massive industrial city on the way
Manama, April 12 (BNA) -- A multi-billion dinar economic and industrial city is being planned for Bahrain, it was announced yesterday. The go-ahead for the project, which will employ thousands of Bahrainis, has been given and a feasibility study will begin soon, said Industry and Commerce Minister Dr Hassan Fakhro at Bahraini daily '' Gulf Dailly News''. "A reputed international company will begin the feasibility study on the project, which is in line with His Majesty King Hamad's vision," he said.

Ibda'a Bank Unit Opened at SCW Headquarters.
Manama-April11(BNA) A special unit affiliated with the Ibda’a (Creativity) Bank has been launched today at the headquarters of the Supreme Council for Women. The initiative aims at promoting the financial scheme of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, wife of His Majesty and SCW chairperson, to boost women’s trade activities. With a funding ceiling of BD 2 million, the Tamkeen-sponsored scheme is being managed by the Ibda’a Bank. It aims to help women achieve their ambitions, by launching home-based projects and upgrading their existing schemes through Sharia-compliant micro-credits. The project was launched in a press conference held today at the SCW headquarters.
