Man Utd boss Sir Alex Ferguson bullish over title hopes
London, April 20 (BNA) -- Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson insisted minimal damage had been done to his side's title push despite their 0-0 draw at Newcastle. The Red Devils were not at their best as they missed the chance to go nine points clear of second-placed Arsenal and 11 clear of Chelsea in third, BBC reported. But Ferguson said: "We are in a better position than we were on Saturday. "We have played one less game and are in the same position we were with Arsenal with five games left."

Guardiola: "We’ll try to be brave and daring"
Madrid, April 20 (BNA) -- In the cup final, Guardiola is not planning to change the approach he has faithfully stood by since taking over as manager. He considers the opportunity to play the final against Madrid to be "a gift". The FC Barcelona manager knows that Real Madrid can play many different ways, and therefore doesn’t think last Saturday’s match will necessarily serve as a guide for Wednesday’s cup final. "We have spoken about what they did and what we suspect they’ll do" he said, adding that he feels the best method for Bar a is "to improve in order to generate more play and more goalscoring chances".

Big point at the Bernab u (1-1)
Madrid, April 17 (BNA) -- FC Barcelona have taken a point from their trip to the Santiago Bernab u and maintain their eight-point lead on Madrid with just 18 left to play for. Messi and Ronaldo scored the goals, both from the penalty spot. The first cl?sico of the series of four has ended in a draw, which included two penalties, one red card and plenty of tension in game that leaves FC Barcelona in a wonderful position in the league table. It was an intense game from the kick off, with the two teams employing very different game plans: while Guardiola sent out his strongest attacking formation with Puyol back in the side but unable to complete the 90 minutes through injury, Mourinho’s plan was more about breaking down the Bar a machine, with ?zil on the bench and Pepe running the midfield.

Sir Alex: Reds must recover
London, April 17 (BNA) -- Sir Alex Ferguson has challenged his players to start another winning streak after the 1-0 FA Cup semi-final defeat to City. "It's a major game on Tuesday up at Newcastle," he told MUTV. "It doesn't matter when you play, you know you've got to recover and get on a winning streak again.
