Cairo, Dec.10 (BNA):  The Arab League has today condemned the visit by Brazilian Chamber of Deputies Mp. Eduardo Bolsonaro to lawmaker Eduardo Bolsonaro to Psagot, an illegal Israeli settlement built on occupied Palestinian territories in the West Bank.

The Arab League issued a statement, warning that such steps would have a negative impact on the relations between the Arab states and the Brazilian state.

Assistant Arab League Secretary-General for the Affairs of Palestine and the Occupied Arab Land Dr. Said Abu Ali voiced deep concerns over the step which represents a flagrant violations of the UN Security Council Resolution number 2334 which considers the Israeli settlements constructed on the Palestinian territories which were occupied after 1967.

“Such unfortunate steps would encourage the Israeli occupation to continue expanding settlement construction, violence and brutality against the Palestinian people, which would undermine any prospect of achieving a just peace based on ending the occupation in the near future”, said Dr. Abu Ali.
