BCCI's Sonya Janahi appointed ALO's Arab Women Labour Affairs Committee member

Manama, Nov. 3 (BNA): The Board of Directors of the Arab Labour Organisation (ALO), has appointed the member of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Sonya Mohammed Janahi, as a member of the Arab Women Labour Affairs Committee at ALO for the 2021-2023 period.

 

The decision was taken unanimously on the sidelines of ALO’s meetings, in line with the resolutions of the 47th Arab Labour Conference.

 

On the occasion, BCCI Chairman, Sameer Abdulla Nass, congratulated Janahi on her appointment to such a new international post, crowning the tremendous efforts she has exerted in serving Arab women locally, regionally and internationally.

 

Janahi's success in winning the prestigious post is a result of her accumulated experience and the distinguished position she enjoys among business circles in the Arab Labour Organisation, which enhances Bahrain’s standing in all regional and international gatherings and consolidates its good reputation in labour affairs at the Arab and international levels.
