Abu Dhabi, Nov.16 (BNA): Bahrain beat the United Arab Emirates 3-1 in a friendly match which was played in the Emirate of Dubai.
The UAE striker Caio Canedo Correa scored the first goal 34 minutes into the first half of the match. However, Mohammed Marhoon equalized 75 minutes into the match before teammate Mohammed Al-Romaihi netted two goals within four minutes (82 and 86 mn).
The national squad which concluded its training camp in the UAE had already beat Tajikistan 1-0 and Lebanon 3-1.
Led by Portugese coach Hélio Filipe Dias de Sousa, the national team is stepping up preparations ahead of the resumptions of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualifications.
