HM King receives Ul-Bohra Sultan

Manama, Nov. 6 (BNA): His Majesty the King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received Sultan Ul-Bohra Mufaddal Saifuddin on the sidelines of his visit to the country. 


HM the King welcomed Sultan Ul-Bohra and and the accompanying delegation and praised his good efforts to reinforce values of coexistence, religious tolerance, social solidarity and rejecting intolerance and extremism. 


HM the King expressed appreciation of Ul-Bohra community’s contribution to the service of the Bahraini society and development march. 


HM the King took pride in Bahrain as a model, at the global level, of friendship, coexistence and tolerance among all religions and sects, stressing Bahrain's keenness to build bridges of communication with all civilizations and cultures. He said that Bahrain has taken important steps in the field of interfaith dialogue, service to humanity and promoting religious and intellectual freedom, as well as at the level of practicing religious rites, out of its commitment to teachings of Islam, which call for the application of the principles of fairness, moderation, acceptance of others and rejection extremism and exaggeration in religion.


Sultan Ul-Bohra welcomed HM the King’s commendation and hailed the royal care for Ul-Bohra community in the Kingdom of Bahrain. 


He paid tribute to the religious freedom guaranteed by the Bahraini constitution and practicing all rituals without discrimination in a friendly community of cultural and religious diversity.
