Date set for BDF Chief’s Cup Final

Manama, Jan.16 (BNA):  The Royal Guard booked a berth in the final on the cup of the BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa.

 

The Royal Guard beat the Royal Special Force 4-0 in the semi-final match which was held at the Khalifa Sports City stadium in Isa Town.

 

The goals were scored for the Royal Guard by Hazza Ali (44’), Ahmed Isa (80’), Salman Ahmed (89’) and Harun (92’), who sealed the final victory for their team.

 

The Royal Guard will take on in the cup final Bahrain Royal Air Force which defeated the Technical Maintenance 4/1.

 

The Technical Maintenance opened the score 15’ into the first half by former Bahrain National Team player Jamal Rashid.

 

The Bahrain Royal Air Force bounced back scoring four goals through Omar Daij (28’, 56’), Ahmed Falamarzi (31’) and Hamad Al-Romaihi (80’).

 

The final match will be held on January 29. The third place play off match opposing the Royal Special Force and the Technical Maintenance on Sunday.
