Manama, July 3(BNA): The Ministry of Education has opened registration for high school graduates wishing to enroll at the Bahrain Teachers College (BTC) for the academic year 2020-2021 and graduate with a Bachelor’s degree.
Registration on the ministry’s portal (www.moe.gov.bh)will start on Sunday (July5) and run until Thursday (July 9), it said in a statement today.
Prospective candidates have to be Bahraini nationals, holders of the high school degree (unified tracks, vocational apprenticeship, advanced stream, technical and religious tracks), with a minimum cumulative average of 80%.
Public and private school candidates have to be a graduates of the academic year (2019-2020) or the two previous ones,who have completed 12 school years and have registered with the University of Bahrain.
Previous students who were excluded from the Univerity of Bahrain or the Bahrain Teachers Colleges are not allowed to register.
Eligible candidates have to pass the evaluation stages, physically fit with medical evidence, with a clean judicial record, unless rehabilitated.
Prospective BTC students have also to meet the UoB admission criteria, available on the university’s portal (www.uob.edu.bh), and have a good conduct.
