Cairo, Mar. 5 (BNA): The Arab Republic of Egypt expressed today its deep condemnation and denunciation of the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia's continuation of its terrorist attacks toward the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the latest of which were launching a ballistic missile and a number of bomb-laden UAVs toward the Southern regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which were successfully intercepted and destroyed by the Joint Coalition Forces to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen.

In a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt affirmed its complete rejection of these hostile acts that target the civilian areas and civilians in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which represent flagrant violation of the rules of international law and a direct threat to the regional security and stability, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

Egypt also stressed its firm position in supporting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the close connection between the security and stability of the two countries.
