Manama, Nov. 26 (BNA): German group Arcis Saxophone Quartet enthralled the audience at the Cultural Hall with an outstanding performance of their "Colors of the Saxophone" concert.
The Munich Quartet, Claus Hierluksch, soprano saxophone; Ricarda Fuss, alto saxophone; Edoardo Zotti, tenor saxophone; and Jure Knez, baritone saxophone, had a charismatic and authentic stage presence that captivated the audience and set them aflame with their enthusiasm and passion in the rare form of chamber music.
In their highly professional interpretations, the Arcis Saxophone Quartet explored the relationship between individual expressivity and the interwoven quality that makes chamber music what it is.
Ambassador Kai Boeckmann hailed the steady deepening of relations between Bahrain and Germany in culture, politics, business and other fields.
Last week, ties between Bahrain and Germany received a great boost following the visits of senior German officials to the Kingdom.
On Sunday, German Social Democratic Party Foreign Policy Spokesperson Dr Nils Schmid addressed the Manama Dialogue about a vast array of topics and had several open conversations with the participants about the situation in the Middle East and the future of Germany and Europe.
Other German officials also visited Bahrain included Miguel Berger, Secretary of State, Federal Foreign Office Berlin, who discussed a broad range of issues with Bahraini officials and managed to set time aside and visit Bahrain Fort with Christian Buck, Director Middle East and North Africa.
“Manama Dialogue is back in full force! After two days of outstanding discussion and talks, with German State Secretary Miguel Berger and key regional actors, I am leaving Bahrain and the IISSMD21 impressed with new ideas, views and perspectives,” Buck tweeted.
