Manama, Nov. 16 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa deputised the Advisor to HRH Premier, HH Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, to attend the graduation ceremony held by AMA International University-Bahrain (AMAIUB) for its 15th batch of Bachelor students.
Held under HRH the Prime Minister’s patronage, the celebration to honour the holders of the Bachelor Degree was attended by the Special Envoy of the Philippines President to the GCC Countries, Honorary President of AMA Educational System and President of AMA International University, Amable Aguiluz, officials and the graduates' parents.
HH Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa conveyed the greetings of HRH the Premier, the patron of the ceremony, to the graduates and their families, as well as his wishes of further success to them.
He asserted that the government, led by HRH Premier, places the educational sector among its priorities, given its key role in preparing generations with enough scientific and cultural knowledge that would enable them to contribute to ensuring a better present and future.
He pointed out that the private education sector supports the government’s efforts to develop education, given its expertise and highly-qualified human competencies and advanced infrastructure, which provides a suitable environment for students’ learning and training.
The Premier’s advisor expressed admiration for the distinguished level of AMAIUB’s efforts aimed at stimulating creativity among its students thanks to its outstanding academic and administrative competencies, as well as academic curricula, which, he said, contributes to the graduation of batches of students who are qualified to enter the labour market and achieve more successes.
He also extended congratulations to the graduates for their keenness to reach the highest levels of achievements, calling on them to contribute to the nation’s progress at all levels.
Mr. Amable Aguiluz extended thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his annual patronage of the graduation ceremony of AMAIUB, which, he said, motivates AMA and its affiliates to achieve more success.
He lauded the strides made by the kingdom in the field of education, which, he said, reflects the extent of Bahrain’s belief in the importance of education as an essential pillar for building nations’ renaissance and progress.
Then, student Maha Nabeel, delivered a statement on behalf of the graduates in which she praises AMA’s distinguished efforts to provide a positive environment for the students to acquire knowledge, develop their skills and embrace good values that would benefit them in the future.
