Cairo, July 11 (BNA): Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoomi, has praised the current visit of HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman to Saudi Arabia.

Al-Asoomi asserted that HM Sultan Haitham’s “constructive” talks with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saudi, confirm the depth of the historical relations between the two brotherly countries and will open up broader horizons for strengthening their strategic partnership across all cooperation fields.

He indicated that the keenness of the two countries’ leaderships to strengthen bilateral ties and consolidate the mechanisms of constant consultations will boost joint Arab action and support Arab issues at all levels, in light of their status and weight at the Arab, regional and international levels.

He stressed that the visit will reflect positively on Arab stances vis-à-vis various regional and global issues, as well as on efforts to safeguard regional security and stability.
