Seychelles President lauds meeting with HM King, hails Bahrain visit

Manama, Jan. 16 (BNA): Seychelles President Danny Faure has highlighted the excellent relations between Bahrain and Seychelles over the past four decades in all important areas of common interest.

The ties are steadily growing and becoming stronger, reflecting the keenness of the commitment of the two leaders and people to enhancing them.

The President described his meeting with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa marked as a new milestone in the relations between the two friendly countries.

The visit to Bahrain was successful and fruitful and heralded a future of closer and wider bilateral relations, he added.

President Faure said he was very pleased with the current level of bilateral ties and with the development in Bahrain across several areas and that he was looking forward to further expansion in business, trade, tourism, training and exchange of expertise in major areas of public and private sectors.

The president at the end of the two-day visit to Bahrain held a meeting with members of the Seychelles community in the Kingdom. He praised the special care and attention the community was receiving from Bahrain and stressed his thanks to Bahrain and Bahrainis for the gracious hospitality.
