Shura Council salutes Bahrain police

Manama,  Dec. 13 (BNA): The Shura Council paid tribute to the police, marking the centenary of its establishment in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
 
In a statement marking the Bahrain Police Day which falls on December 14, the Shura Council saluted a century of enormous sacrifices and landmark achievements, reflecting unwavering loyalty to the Kingdom of Bahrain and allegiance to the leadership as well as keenness on national security, stability and development.
 
The Shura Council paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, hailing royal keenness on developing the police, implementing latest security policies to deal with all challenges facing the nation.
 
It also commended the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, hailing the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
 
The Shura Council commended in its statement the achievements of the police since its inception in 1919, hailing the dedicated efforts exerted by the Minister of Interior General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa.
