HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister congratulates member of the Royal Guard for breaking world record at ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon

Manama, Dec. 6 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, extended his congratulations to Second-Lieutenant Abdullah Al-Sayed Attia, a member of the Bahrain Defence Force’s Royal Guard, for his achievement in setting the world record for the fastest marathon in full military uniform at the 2021 ADNOC Marathon in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and registering in the Guinness Book of World Records.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister commended Second Lieutenant Abdullah Al-Sayed Attia on his success in the ADNOC Marathon.

His Royal Highness noted that his achievement reflects the spirit and determination of Bahraini nationals, and expressed his best wishes of success to Second-Lieutenant Abdullah Al-Sayed Attia in his future endeavours.  

His Royal Highness praised the efforts of the National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, Major General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in supporting the successful sporting achievements of Bahraini nationals abroad.
