Manama, Mar. 29 (BNA): Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Waleed Khalifa Al Manea received Italian former Interior Minister and President of the Med-Or Foundation for Education and Training Dr. Marco Minniti.
The undersecretary praised the depth of Bahraini-Italian relations in many fields, especially the health field.
They discussed enhancing cooperation in areas related to training, the exchange of medical expertise and in organizing visits to doctors and specialists from various specialties.
Dr. Al Manea stressed that the cooperation aims to open new horizons during the next stages of effective partnership to enhance coordination in the field of health and medical sciences.
Dr. Minniti praised Bahrain's efforts in combating the coronavirus pandemic, which reflects the development of the health system in the Kingdom and the level of health services provided to all.
