Manama, Feb. 8 (BNA): Industry and Commerce Minister Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro received Head of the Regional Office of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) for Investment and Technology in Bahrain Dr. Hashim Hussein.
The minister praised efforts of the UNIDO Investment and Technology to attract investments to the Kingdom and strengthen its industrial base through partnerships and cooperation between local investors and their global counterparts.
Dr. Hussein stressed that the UNIDO network promotes investment and technology in eight countries, namely Bahrain, China, Germany, Japan, Russia, Italy and Korea.
He added that Bahrain office provides a range of supportive services to entrepreneurs and investors extending from providing advice and information to establishing partnerships and financial and technological linkage.
