Jordanian Crown Prince visits Royal Guard

Manama, Feb. 5 (BNA): As part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II of Jordan today visited the Royal Guard Headquarters.
 
Upon arrival, HRH the Crown Prince of Jordan and HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa were received by HH Major-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard; HH Lieutenant Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard Special Force; and a number of senior officers.
 
HRH the Crown Prince of Jordan was briefed on the Royal Guard’s strategies and tactical operations, in addition to the various programmes introduced to advance its combat readiness.
 
HRH the Crown Prince of Jordan, then, toured the Royal Guard Special Force museum and participated in a counter-terrorism military exercise during which he praised the Royal Guard’s advanced operational readiness.
 
HH Shaikh Nasser highlighted the long-standing ties between the two nations, underpinned by HM King Hamad’s support to advance cooperation at all levels.
