Manama, May 22 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, met here today the Tree of Life Social Charitable Society’s Board of Directors Chairman, Khalil Ahmed Al-Dailami, and several members.
Al-Dailami reviewed the Society’s initiatives and achievements in the field of charity work, highlighting its goal of becoming a role model for charity and humanitarian work in the kingdom, in cooperation with the relevant public and private institutions.
The minister and Al-Dailami discussed the main challenges facing the work of the Tree of Life Social Charitable Society, and ways of facilitating procedures for it so as to enable it to enhance its role and improve its performance in serving society.
Humaidan commended the role played by Al-Dailami in promoting the culture of voluntary and humanitarian work, describing him as one of the exemplary pioneers in this field, citing the Society’s initiatives to take care of orphans’ affairs.
He also praised the Tree of Life Social Charitable Society’s role, contributions and services in the social, humanitarian and charity fields, affirming the Labour and Social Development Ministry’s support for the efforts of civil society organisations and keenness to remove all obstacles facing them, in accordance with the regulations and laws in force.
