Leadership congratulated on sport achievement

Manama, Aug.14 (BNA):  Bahrain has clinched the West Asian African Football Championship after beating Iraq in the final match.

His Majesty’s Representative for Youth and Sports Affairs and Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa congratulated HM King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa on the achievement.
He also extended congratulations to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
He paid tribute to HM the King, hailing royal support to the sport movement which bore fruit and enabled national teams to shine and achieve landmark successes and achievements.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa congratulated the national team players who shined as ambassadors of Bahraini sports and reflected the Kingdom’s football strides.
He commended the players for their dedication and determination, which enabled them to triumph and clinch the West Asian African Football Championship, hailing the administrative and technical staff.
