Manama, Feb. 7 (BNA): National Audit Office (NAO) Auditor General Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received Education Minister Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma’a.
The meeting discussed raising the level of cooperation and coordination.
The auditor general stressed NAO’s continued coordination with all ministries, government agencies and institutions covered by its audit mandate to achieve performance levels and the quality and efficiency of services provided to citizens, in accordance with international auditing standards.
He highlighted NAO’s relations with the ministry and emphasized further coordination to consolidate the principles of integrity, transparency and professionalism, in line with the goals of the comprehensive development vision led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The minister stressed his readiness for further cooperation to serve national interest.
