Manama, Nov. 25 (BNA): In the presence of the Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club (REHC) High Committee, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Vice-President of the Supreme Council for Environment and the REHC High Committee’s Deputy Chairman, His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Rashid Club today held the sixth race for this season, 2022-2023, at its racecourse in Raffa, Sakhir.
Their Highnesses, representatives of sponsors and the equestrian sport fans also attended the nine-round race which was held over the cups of the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC).
GPIC Corporate Support General Manager, Adnan Abdulrazaq Al Mahmood, crowned the winners. He presented the trophies of GPIC Cup to Jabr Al-Dossari, the winner of the fifth round, and Abdulla Fawzi Nass, the winning owner of the eighth round.
He also presented the trophy of GPIC Cup for the ninth round to HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa.
