Saudi Arabia welcomes Turkey’s decision to form joint investigation team

Riyadh, Oct. 12 (BNA): A Saudi official source has welcomed the Turkish Presidency’s positive response to Saudi Arabia’s request to set up a bilateral expert-level Joint Action Team, to investigate into the disappearance of the Saudi national Jamal bin Ahmed Hamza Khashoggi in the city of Istanbul, Turkey.


According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the official source valued highly the “positive move, reaffirming full confidence in the joint action team, through close cooperation among its members to carry out their set assignments, in the best of ways.”

 

The same source concluded by emphasising Saudi Arabia’s “utmost and great keenness to sustain the security and safety of its citizenry, wherever they might happen to be.”
