Homage paid to late Shura Council member

Manama, Dec. 3(BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh paid homage to former Shura member late Muneera bin Hindi.

 

“The deceased set an honourable role model for human giving, sacrifice, sincerity and dedication in serving the nation and embodied multifaceted  responsible and inspiring Bahraini women”, he added.

 

He praised the distinct imprints that the late Munira bin Hindi left, especially in supporting people with disabilities, motivating them to work with determination and persistence, and overcoming challenges and turning them into achievements.

 

Al Saleh made the statement on the sidelines of the first Muneera bin Hindi Forum for People with Disabilities under the theme: “Achievements and Challenges”.

 

Bahrain Mobility International held the event today under the patronage of its honorary chairperson Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa.

 

Late Bin Hindi had a prolific life, whether in her professional career as as member of the Shura Council during the four-year second legislative term (2006-2010)
