Manama, Jan. 31 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh congratulated Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), on the Arab Women’s Day.
The chairman praised the generous royal patronage for Bahraini women from HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Al Saleh expressed his pride in the achievements made by Bahraini women as a result of HRH’s efforts and follow-up to implement fruitful and constructive plans and strategies, through her leadership of the SCW.
He affirmed HRH Princess Sabeeka’s keenness to ensure women advancement and assuming leadership positions in various fields, and preserve their dignity and enhance their status locally, regionally and internationally.
Shura chairman said that Bahraini women has been a model for the progress of Arab women and stressed that HRH’s Global Award for Women's Empowerment that works towards achieving development goals related to achieving gender balance.
