Manama, Jan. 12 (BNA): The National Audit Office (NAO) Auditor General Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa discussed enhancing partnership and cooperation in auditing and follow-up with Minister of Works Ebrahim bin Hasan Al Hawaj, and Chairman of the Council for Regulating the Practice of Engineering Professions (CRPEP) Dr. Abdullah Yousif Talib Abdulghani.
The auditor general stressed that NAO would continue to coordinate with all ministries and government agencies covered by its audit to ensure its recommendations are implemented in accordance with international standards in order to improve the level of performance, the quality and efficiency of the services provided.
Shaikh Ahmed praised the cooperation of the Works Ministry and the CRPEP with NAO staff and their assistance with the implementation of the NAO’s tasks.
Shaikh Ahmed said that NAO was anticipating to broadening coordination to contribute to achieving the goals of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and followed-up by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The minister and the Chairman of CRPEP referred to the level of professionalism and skills of NAO employees, affirming further cooperation to reach the desired objectives.
