Arab Parliament Speaker praises HM King's visit to Egypt

Manama, Sept. 17 (BNA): Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdulrahman Al Asoumi, praised the visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Arab Republic of Egypt and his meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi as an indication of HM the King’s Arab role and keenness to boost cooperation with the Arab countries.


Al Asoumi affirmed that the visit reflects HM the King’s constant keenness to foster regional security and stability. He noted that discussions with the Egyptian President underlined the unwavering and honourable stances of the Kingdom of Bahrain regarding boosting pan-Arab work, facing regional challenges and backing the Arab and international efforts to foster security and stability.


The Arab Parliament Speaker added that HM the King’s visit also reflects specificity of the Bahraini-Egyptian relations which set a model to emulate in fraternal ties and common keenness to boost them and enhance coordination regarding various issues of common concern. He also affirmed the consistency of visions of the two countries’ leaderships regarding regional developments. He lauded, in this respect, HM the King’s assertion of supporting the efforts aimed at reaching a binding, just and comprehensive agreement regarding the Renaissance Dam to benefit all parties.


Al Asoumi commended the unwavering stances of President Al-Sisi concerning Gulf security and rejection of any practices aimed at shaking its stability.
