Manama, Oct. 11 (BNA): President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa chaired the council regular session virtually.
The session reviewed the Ministerial Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs request report and other proposals and recommendations, and took necessary measures in this regard.
He praised the Royal directive to ease restrictions in performing prayers in mosques with taking the necessary precautionary measures.
The SCIA president valued the continued keenness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to establish religious rituals even under exceptional circumstances as during the pandemic while emphasizing health precautions.
He also hailed the efforts made by Team Bahrain led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which led the Kingdom to recovery and normal life.
