HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt

Manama, Jan. 10 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received HE Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal at Riffa Palace, following the issuance of a Royal Decree appointing her as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt.


His Royal Highness highlighted the strength of ties between Bahrain and Egypt, which continue to progress in line with the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the President of Egypt, HE Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.


HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised the importance of further strengthening bilateral cooperation to achieve common goals and benefit both countries and their peoples.


His Royal Highness congratulated HE Zainal on her appointment and wished her success in her new role in furthering Bahrain-Egypt diplomatic ties.


For her part, HE Zainal expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and noted that HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minsiter's ongoing support is an incentive to continue serving the Kingdom and its people.


His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Charity Educational Endowment, the Deputy Prime Minister, HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani, also attended the meeting.
