Shura Council salutes Bahrain workforce

Manama, Apr.30 (BNA): The Shura Council saluted Bahrain workforce, hailing their dedicated efforts and vital role in serving the nation. 

 

It paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, lauding royal care and keenness on workers’ rights in accordance with Bahrain’s advanced laws and regulations. 

 

It commended the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. This came in a statement on the eve of the International Workers’ Day, which falls annually on the 1st of May. 

 

It commended the Government’s role in drawing up promising and viable economic policies and reforming the labour market, which had a positive impact in creating jobs, promoting labour lights and boosted Bahrain’s investment and business opportunities.

 

The Shura Council saluted the national workforce which represents the cornerstone in successful nation-building and the pillar of national economy, despite COVID-19 challenges. 

 

It paid tribute to health professionals and medical frontliners who continue to battle against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), hailing their loyalty, dedication and sacrifices. 

 

It reiterated continued efforts to further protect workers’ rights and promote relations with production parties, through consolidated national legislations towards a prosperous and bright economic and social future.
