Labour Minister issues circular on mandatory in-person training activities

Manama, Aug. 5 (BNA): Labour Minister, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, has issued a circular to all licensed vocational training institutions on the mandatory in-person training activities, which will contribute to strengthening the training process, and ensure that it achieves its objectives.

According to the circular, the member of the administrative and training staff are required to be present at their training institutions during official working hours.

It also stipulates that all trainees should report to their training institutions during the theoretical and practical periods, as well as during their evaluation, exams and practical training.

The circular also called on training institutions not to exceed their capacity, and to ensure that their facilities meet the health and safety requirements.

The Labour Ministry’s inspectors will carry out periodic visits to training facilities to ensure their full compliance with the provisions of this circular.

Training programmes that require virtual training are exempted from this circular.
