Manama, Nov. 3 (BNA): Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Bahrain Dialogue Forum "East and West for Human Coexistence" was launched today at the Isa Cultural Center (ICC) with the participation of many eminent intellectual figures and representatives of religions from different countries.

The two-day forum is within Bahrain’s keenness to build bridges of dialogue between leaders of religions, sects, thought, culture and media, in cooperation with Al Azhar, the Catholic Church, the Muslim Council of Elders, and other international institutions concerned with dialogue, human coexistence and tolerance.

The program of the forum, which will be held on November 3-4, features sessions that highlight the promotion of global coexistence and human fraternity, dialogue and peaceful coexistence and present the Bahrain Declaration as a model to be emulated.

Sessions will also review the role of religious leaders and scholars in addressing the challenges of the time.
