Interior Minister receives ministry's team, praises winning International Pace Sticking Championship

Manama, June 23 (BNA):  Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received the Interior Ministry team for winning the International Pace Sticking Championship. Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan and Commander of the Royal Academy of Police, Brigadier Fawaz Al Hassan attended.


The team won the competition at the British Royal College (Sandhurst) for the 9th time, in which this year’s contest was held with the participation of 20 teams. Policeman, Fathi Naji was honoured as the best solo participant in the competition for the second year in a row.


The Interior Minister congratulated the team on the accomplishment, hailing the distinguished performance out of the team members’ determination and work team spirit, along with training plans. He also hailed the role of the academy in training the team. He wished the team further success in the coming competitions.
