Manama, Jan. 29 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,929.86 points, marking an increase of 2.23 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the raise in the financial sector, materials sector and real estate sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 657.98 points, marking a decrease of 0.07 points below the previous closing.
Results indicated that 54 equity transactions took place with a volume of 775,791 worth BD 271,810.
Investors traded mainly in the material sector representing 25.48% of the total value of securities traded.
